While this desk lamp bookmark won't make the words on the page any more legible, it will shine a light on your progress through a novel. This low-tech reader's accessory is made from molded plastic, yet it's animated with an atypical shape for this sort of item.
The part of the page marker that slips between the sheets of paper is flat, as usual; however, the upper portion takes the form of a hinged table lamp in either red, gray or white. A representational beam of light casts down from the conical shade, and this is what flags a specific spot in your book. When the Lightmark is positioned just right, it looks as though the little fixture is resting steadily on the edge of the volume.
