Gap will be celebrating its 40th anniversary with a pop-up concept store on Carnaby Street in London. The store will carry items such as artist and designer collaborations and exclusive denim styles.
Gap’s executive vice president of design, Patrick Robinson, has tapped famed street style photographer Garance Dore to curate an exhibition of her work for the store as well as contribute illustrations that will appear on t-shirts. Other artists and designers whose collaborations will be appearing at the pop-up store alongside Mlle Dore include Pierre Hardy, Albertus Swanpoel and Pharell Williams.
The 1969 Gap concept store in London opens on September 10 for 19 days and 69 hours.
