Clever sculptor Deborah Simon is responsible for these bizarre inside-out bear pieces. This faux taxidermy collection features different types of bears. To make these artworks more interesting, Simon has placed fabric over the torsos of her wildlife sculptures, which show people what a bear's anatomy looks like.
One of these peculiar taxidermy sculptures features a big polar bear, whose veins and arteries are visible. Simon's grizzly bear sculpture is sporting exposed intestines. The black bear in this collection has an exposed spinal cord, which draws the viewer's attention immediately. These sculptures are extremely realistic which makes them all the more impressive.
These embroidered bears were created using clay and faux fur. Deborah Simon's inside-out bear collection puts an interesting twist on taxidermy, and educates viewers with regards to the subject of bear anatomy.
