Italian artist Marco Perego caused some uproar with his installation called, The Only Good Rock Star Is a Dead Rock Star which showcased a fake cadaver of Amy Winehouse sprawled out on the floor.
Shown at the Lower East Side's Half Gallery located in NYC, the provocative and subversive show also included an of installation of the famous but tragic 1950's writer, William Burroughs.

Implications - This faux Winehouse cadaver was developed in 2008, long before the soulful R&b songstress met an untimely end. Nevertheless, the controversy that Marco Perego faced for this installation seems more than warranted. But that doesn't take away from the fact that these images are gripping and highly artistic.
