Providing seating for that unaccounted for guest at a party can be a difficult situation to navigate, which is why Polish designer Agnieszka Kowal created the Dango armchair -- an easy-to-move lounger that can provide additional seating if necessary.
The design features a plywood base with leather straps that allow the chair to recline backwards. Two removable ottomans slide onto the back and seat of the chair, offering a comfortable cushion that, when removed from the chair, can provide additional on-floor seating. Thanks to the two removable ottomans, the single chair becomes three different seats, effectively providing comfortable places for unexpected guests to relax.
This chair speaks to a growing demographic of people who live compactly and require flexible furniture that can fulfill a diverse range of roles.
