Architect Dachi Papuashvili designed this captivating cross-shaped home, known as the Skit, entirely out of wood. The cross home was built using upcycled wooden shipping containers.
Papuashvili created this adorable cross-shaped home by turning several unused wooden shipping containers into structural wall beams. Because of limited space, this home makes excellent use of every nook and cranny. The kitchen, office, bathroom and bedroom are compact spaces featuring rustic, clean layouts. Even the top of the vertical portion of this cross home facilitates the perfect area for an outdoor rooftop patio along with several solar panels for environmentally friendly energy. The one-person house might be a tight fit but it includes all the necessities needed to make any home comfortable.
