Those unfamiliar with the material Valchromat will come to know it quite intimately after surveying this cut-out chair design. A mixture of a wood fiber board and a solid surface, it brings an industrial feel to the piece of furniture that is very strong and masculine. Yet the details of the cut-out chair gives it a decorative aesthetic as well, which will appeal to a larger demographic.
Designed by Rodrigo Osornio, who hails from Mexico, the cut-out chair is dubbed Lindavista. Although the cut-outs could be assumed as purely decorative, they serve a practical purpose as well.
