Gifpop! is taking gifs off the Internet and making them IRL with their platform for customized cards. Thanks to lenticular printing and a successfully funded Kickstarter project, your holiday cards could be more unique than ever before.
From Rachel Binx and Sha Hwang of custom jewelry company Menshu, the customized cards can contain the gif of your choosing. After uploading your gif to the Gifpop! site, you simply choose the frames and order your cards (which come in a range of sizes). The duo is also partnering with different artists to release limited edition prints of their work on the cards.
Lenticular printing is a technology that's been around since the 1940s, but has primarily been used in children's toys.
