MAD & Biecher Architectes Unveil a Residential Tower in France
Kalin Ned — August 13, 2022 — Art & Design
Architects often look for ways to soften the presence of large urban developments in cities and this white, curvaceous residential tower in Paris, France is a great example of how form and palette can be used to create balance. The design of this residential development is credited to Chinese architecture studio MAD and its collaborator, local French studio Biecher Architectes. This curvaceous residential tower is MAD's "first completed project in Europe."
The 13-story building was designed to interact with and supplement its surroundings. The structure is characterized by the curved balconies that wrap around the building. A mix of both private and affordable housing, the MAD x Biecher Architectes development definitely brings a new and unique character to the area.
