Harvard University kicks off an exciting new course feature once the Fall season begins with CS50, which is a class that teaches introductory coding. However, this time around the class is taught by an all-new artificial intelligence instructor with hopes of incorporating AI into its lessons with plans to offer a 1:1 teacher-student ratio for everyone available.
With this new progression, the school could provide software tools that can potentially teach students at any hour of the day at their own pace. As noted by Professor David Malan in the university's student newspaper The Harvard Crimson, he explains that AI technology can “occasionally underperform or even err,” as he is confident that it will help free course staff time and create more time for interactions with students.
