Glass Encased Crystal Ice Furniture Swarovski Benches and Stools
Rose Nazarali — July 14, 2009 — Art & Design
Crystal Ice Furniture by Tord Borntje for Swarovski is a set of glass encased stools, tables and benches that give the illusion of floating icicles.
The crystals were densely wrapped for the ice effect and the glass includes a mirrored bottom.
While these designs do not look very comfortable, they would make for a great piece in any home and create a wonderful winter wonderland in your living room.
Implications - With the economic downturn a thing of the past, consumers are eager to get back to spending. Affluent consumers represent a coveted group of consumers that desire products to reflect their feelings of financial security. Companies should cater to this demographic by offering luxury products that are a cut above the competition.
