If you ever thought that the control panels featured on Star Trek looked too unrealistic, I am pretty sure you will think again when you look at the Crowd notebook. This concept laptop really does look like it is a prop from the Star Trek set. Of course, the popularity of Apple touchscreens probably already prepared you for a design like this one.
Designed by Philipp Schaake, one half of the German design team Sensid Studio, the Crowd notebook was a runner-up prize winner in Fujitsu's Design Award 2011 competition, and for good reason. Aside from being extremely eye-catching, the Crowd notebook is quite unique as well. Aside from its colorful interface, it essentially separates into two modules, effectively giving you two tablets.
