PTC recently launched a new product named Creo 7.0, which helps companies create better products by improving the design process. Creo 7.0 was made possible through the acquisition of Onshape, a Software-as-a-Service company. The acquisition gave PTC access to new technologies including generative design capabilities, that will allow manufactures to use AI to efficiently optimize designs. Other features include Simulation-Driven Design, with real-time simulation capabilities, as well as Multibody Design, allowing users to more efficiently complete designs.
Brian Thompson, a divisional vice president, and general manager for the company spoke about the new product, "Creo 7.0 is one of our most innovation-rich releases yet, allowing customers to leverage Frustum’s amazing generative design technology and an enhanced Ansys-powered Creo Simulation Live with real-time fluid-flow analysis."
