The 'Cozy Cleo' lamp has been designed by Frederik Rasenberger of Germany-based EveryOtherDay as an eco-friendly illuminator that combats against virgin material use for decor items. The lamp is constructed with recycled plastic bottles for the shade and recycled cardboard for the base, which combine to create a minimalist aesthetic. The cardboard for the base is shredded before paired with water and pressed using five-tons of pressure to eliminate the need for adhesives or binders, while the shade is 3D-printed using recycled plastic bottle filament.
Each 'Cozy Cleo' lamp is achieved with 200-grams of cardboard with 10 plastic bottles, which can all be recycled once again after the decor piece has reached end of life for a truly circular design.
