A Belgian startup has created the 2019 Cowboy e-bike, the bike features a pedal assist function and a removable battery. The bike has an anti-theft GPS function so owners could track down stolen bikes, a Bluetooth beacon can also be used to search for the bike in a specific building. Unlike previous models, the new 2019 version of the bike will be able to function without the bikes associated app, however, lights on the front and back of the bike need to be turned on and off using the app. The new cowboy e-bike will start production this year in Poland.
The Cowboy e-bike is powered by a Samsung lithium-ion battery, the battery has a 360W output, which allows for a 70km range. The battery can also be charged in approximately three hours.
