It is simply a ring for two that breaks in half, so that both people can wear a part.
The double ring is crafted from porcelain so it is made easier to crack in two, rather than using bands made from silver or gold. Every break is unique to every owner because porcelain never breaks in one single way. Another element provided is sandpaper, in the case where the breakage of the porcelain may be too sharp.
