The Cortina collection by Ceramiche Refin is a porcelain stoneware range that is designed to resemble traditional wooden planks from Italian alpine huts. The nostalgic collection marries the strength and smoothness of porcelain stoneware with the warmth and comfort of its wooden appearance.
To further mimic the appearance of wooden planks, the tiles are designed with a blend of patterns found in various tree species. Some inspiration was drawn from larch, firn, and pine trees that have historically been used to cover Italian barn interiors. The new collection aims to transfer the traditional charm of Italian mountain chalets into other interior design environments. Consumers can select from four shades, including Almond, Honey, Natural, and Tabacco.
