Architecture firm Atelier Vens Vanbelle has created a memorable Corten steel guesthouse. Its client—a professional in the film business—wanted a provocative and eye-captivating structure which will ensure that "international guests [will] remember their stay forever."
Atelier Vens Vanbelle relied on captivating design sensibilities to achieve a beautiful space that combines elegant interior design with experimental architectural connotations. For the silhouette of the building, the firm used "different layers of laminated veneer lumber (LVL) clad in Corten." This allows for the guesthouse to not only be visually striking but also easy to maintain.
Located in Uitbergen. Belgium. the Corten steel guesthouse features a sculptural wooden interior and a circular window that reveals views of the surrounding vegetation.
