Although the contemporary candle holder boasts a simple and sleek silhouette, it can't help but bring to mind its more traditional brass brother. This is due in large part to the small handle that protrudes from its lip. Like the more ornate designs from Victorian times, this contemporary candle holder is meant to be help and toted around to brighten up darker corridors while on the move.

Considering the major storms and power outages that have been experienced over the last few years, such preparations are not that out of line.
