adidas Originals is preparing to launch its new Workshop Consortium collection comprised of two silhouettes -- the Falcon and the SS2G. The Consortium Workshop is a series of products that the label designs in-house to challenge its technical thinking skills and push creative boundaries. This time, the new sneakers boast a mixed design, tapping into visual elements from other footwear models by the brand and drawing inspiration from a range of sports. There are influences from skateboarding, running and soccer infused into the design.
The highlighting element of both models is the enclosure system, as it is fastened using toggles and tucked in at the front. Both sneakers are predominantly white throughout the uppers with touches of navy blue and yellow. The Falcon sneaker has sock-imitating ankle supports and Primeknit uppers. The SS2G sneakers have suede panel details on the sides and a shell-toe.
