Mr. Fahrenheit isn't the title of a children's book or a mascot for some kind of temperature-themed team; instead, it is a concrete candle holder that brings an industrial touch to people's living spaces. In fact, it does so in a two-fold way. Not only are they made out of cement, the designs are inspired by the shape of plumbing pipes.
Designed by Dutch designer Merel Bekking, the concrete candle holder were conceived while he was studying product design at the Art Academy in Utrecht. Yet since working with pipes is not something new, he decided to put his own twist that many others will appreciate. The Mr. Fahrenheit concrete candle holders do boast brass details that act as a stylish nod to its origin of inspiration.
