Furniture designer Tryone Stoddart has come up with one of the most compact table designs on the market: a brief case that folds open to become a fully functional desk.
The BOXED wooden brief case deceivingly seems like a simple ash wood case. But when opened, the brief case contents reveal several table legs and connectors. Not only can BOXED be converted into a table, its multi-functional design also allows it to be built into a lamp, a coffee table or two small stools.
Made from a beautiful ash wood, the BOXED brief case also raises awareness to the harmful ash dieback tree disease by including a small sack of ash seeds the user can plant.
