Living in a fast-paced city is all about keeping up with today’s dynamic, on-the-go schedules. With an often hectic schedule, people must be ready for anything, which means having the right gear within reach. Able Carry set out to create a new standard of products, built to keep up with a new generation of citizens as they move seamlessly from work to play and all the experiences in between.
Able Carry believes products should be simple and complementary—like the white tee, everyday jeans and other time-tested classics—so it set out to redefine a backpack to handle daily use and be a staple of everyday carry for years to come.
Backpacks are a daily essential on city commutes, activities and urban adventures. Able Carry wants to redefine the entire daily carry experience, starting with its first product 'The Daily,' a comfortable, versatile and durable backpack built with premium materials and backed a lifetime guarantee. Leaving aside fancy gimmicks, Able Carry focused on a few key areas of versatility, comfort and durability in a updated classic form.
Backpacks purpose-built for cameras, trekking and other professional industries are heavy, expensive and unwieldy for city use. Lightweight backpacks lack the support, durability or comfort needed for a daily workhorse. There was a void between affordable bags and feature heavy bags that the brand wanted to fill — a basic backpack with just the right amount of organization without being fussy. Able Carry chose a top-load format to keep everything within reach from the top or side.
The key feature of the Daily comes from the A-Frame, a custom suspension system that distributes weight off of the shoulders and down through the back, keeping contents tight and the bag shapely and compact. Vented back padding and wide-cut shoulder straps are optimized for comfort and support. Adjustable sternum straps add additional stability, with the option to stow away until needed. These features combined provide a comfortable fit that reduces swaying and bouncing of the backpack on the move.
By streamlining compartments and a simplified construction, Able Carry is able to focus on offering premium materials and hardware. The Daily is available in two premium materials: X-PAC Fabric and CORDURA 1000D Nylon. Both are extremely durable for daily use — with the X-PAC being naturally water repellent, and Cordura Nylon with excellent abrasion resistance.
The Daily in X-PAC material, versatile for city use and weekend adventures. The Daily is also equipped with high-quality YKK zippers to avoid any jamming over time, and reinforced stitching in key places for optimal durability.
City life often surprises calls for impromptu adventures and outings. The Daily is equipped with side straps that offer hook points for those days when something extra is needed — bike lights, carabiner points, a lock to fit through the zip loops for extra peace of mind. A discreet pocket allows for emergency cash, keys or other backup storage.
