The Footwear & Recreation Technology Research Institute of Taiwan has created color changing shoes. By spraying leather shoes with micro capsules of resin mixed with luminous particles, researchers were able to create color changing shoes.
The leather on the shoes will turn pink, orange or purple 30 seconds after being exposed to sunlight. The color changing shoes last for up to 60 hours and you can choose to spray the capsules onto the entire shoe or just a portion of it. No word on whether after the 60 hours you shoe turns back to it’s original color.
