The 3D4C is a color 3D printer that aims to be the first ever 3D printer that lets you print objects that aren't simply one-colored or two-toned, but can blend several colors to create multicolored plastic outputs.
The 3D4C printer is equipped with a metal extruder that blends the different colors of plastic filamen, an aluminum heat bed and metal parts that ensure accurate printing. The output resolution is 100 microns at the highest resolution and 500 microns at the fastest speed setting. The machine includes a 0.8 mm nozzle as well as a 0.4 mm nozzle for speedier but less fine prints.
The 3D4C is just a prototype for now; the developers of this ingenious color 3D printer are running a Kickstarter campaign to raise funds for production of their invention.
