The Close Up is a really cool art table which enhances the creativity and imagination of children.
The Close Up is an art-lab table which provides children a unique and fun learning experience. It brings out their innate curiosity as well as gets them closer to nature. The table has organic qualities and is equipped with lighting features which makes it ideal for tracing, sketching and live observation.
As the name suggests, the Close Up has built-in portable containers with magnification lenses on each of the lids. Children can gather anything they can find outside such as harmless insects, leaves and flowers and they can place them inside the containers where they can examine them through a magnifying lens.
The art-lab Close Up table was designed by Carolina Peña Villareal.
I have to say, if I were still a kid, I would love to have an art-lab table like this one. It's certainly much better than letting kids watch cartoons all day long.
