The UK-based footwear brand Clarks has launched the highly-anticipated vegan version of its most popular shoes.
The iconic high-ankled Desert Boot now comes in vegan black and brown iterations, while Clarks' Wallabee shoe is available in vegan black and yellow tones. In addition, each shoe is marked with a leaf logo to symbolize it is certified vegan. The Desert Boot is made with vegan leather and lined with Forest Stewardship Council-certified rubber soles. In contrast, the Wallabee sneaker is made with sustainably sourced recycled materials and is completed with an OrthoLite foam sole.
Both shoes stay true to the brand's ethos of comfortability and durability. Clarks has been in operation for nearly 200 years, and these two new shoes mark the brand's first-ever vegan footwear.
