CitizenM hotel recently opened its doors in the heart of New York city's Times Square. Based in Amsterdam, the hospitality chain is a symbol of movement and is aimed at a clientele of travelers and entrepreneurs with a passion for technology.
The hotel features a do-it-yourself check-in and is home to 230 rooms that are equipped with "enough gadgets and functionality to satisfy even the most demanding geek." In addition to its tech-themed rooms, CitizenM hotel features a vast lobby space that is visually striking and over-the-top.
Inspired by David LaChappelle and Daido Moriyama imagery, the lobby is adorned with a Julian Opie original and features furnishings from Vitra. The luxe hospitality space marries aesthetics with efficiency and encourages its tech-savvy users to enjoy all of its unique amenities.
