French fashion house Chloe has seen its fair share of A-list designers come and go, and the Chloe Spring 2012 collection boasts a new creative director, Clare Waight Keller, at its helms.
Waight Keller is replacing Hannah MacGibbon, whose contract with the label was not renewed this year. In the past, Chloe has had both Karl Lagerfeld and Phoebe Philo as creative directors, so Waight Keller has some big shoes to fill. Her previous stints at Gucci and Pringle of Scotland will surely work in her favor, though, to restore Chloe's signature knits and gorgeous camel tones.
The Chloe Spring 2012 collection is slouchy and comfortable, with a palette of soft ivory accented with tan, teal, or burnt orange. "Fluidity and femininity, but boyish" were Clare Waight Keller's words to the models backstage -- she certainly maintained that sense of effortlessness in the collection.
