Bring the aesthetics of fresh fruit to the home with the Cherries Lamp by Nika Zupanc.
The talented designer of the Cherries Lamp replicates the fruit in the form of a charming home decor piece. The lights are made from two large, blown-glass bulbs with a miniature hole on the bottom that emits light. The lamps are fixed together and suspended by metal tubing, which is supposed to reflect the tiny stems that tie the fruit together. These come in singles, twins or triplets depending on your personal preference.
The Cherries Lamp will be shown in an exhibition entitled Silent Revolutions: Contemporary Design in Slovenia from September 22nd-25th, 2011.
