This weekend I had the pleasure of seeing my favorite designer's personal exhibit, Chase The Rising Sun.
This event was the love child of Michael and Lauren Crigler, who are heading off on a year long exodus to do volunteer work around the world. The money from the exhibit is going to fund the different causes they plan on helping.
The gallery featured a visual wonderland of socially conscious art, which delves into the severed relationship between man and nature. The art is constructed with a diversity of objects, each piece a unique entity varying in medium, texture, and style. While the exhibit explored the realness of life, rebellion and idealism, it did so with elements of humor and sincerity.
After one walk through, I was ready to sell all of my things and Chase the Rising Sun with them.
