The plastic tubes that toothpaste is packaged in are reported to take hundreds of years to break down once disposed of, so Change Toothpaste is here to help change this by eliminating plastic components.
The toothpaste has been developed by entrepreneurs Mike Medicoff and Damien Vince, and consists of tablets instead of a liquid product. The tablets are simply chewed a few times before being brushed with a wet toothbrush to clean teeth using ingredients like xylitol and dicalcium phosphate. The tablets come packaged in compostable paper bags to further enhance the eco-friendly nature of the oral care product.
Change Toothpaste works just like traditional toothpaste and will soon be available on a subscription plan to offer consumer a custom supply of the product.
