Marine-Inspired Chanel Cruise 2010 Show in Venice
The much anticipated Chanel Cruise 2010 show took place at sunset on a beach in Venice, Italy.
“Venice has a genuine dark and mysterious side to it that fascinated me. I really like the Italian spirit and the Venetian lifestyle,” said Karl Lagerfeld. “And let’s not forget that Coco Chanel came back to Venice for 10 years.”
The models walked a boardwalk while fashion editors and VIP guests lounged on deck chairs with Chanel beach towels as souvenirs to take home.
The whole vibe screamed summer, from the sandy location to the sailor and marine inspired pieces.
The runway show featured models Lara Stone, Tatjana Patitz, Siri Tollerod, Heidi Mount, Liu Wen, Charlotte di Calypso, and Denisa Dvorakova among others.
