The Chameleon Ceramics collection is completely charming. It revolves around simple porcelain containers that have been given cute quirks thanks to its textured surface. Instead of some abstract feel or pattern, the Chameleon Ceramics collection revolves around the use of existing everyday textures such as bubble wrap and biscuits.
Designed by Ryosuke Fukusada, the Chameleon Ceramics collection was created for the "Experimental Creations" exhibit at the Light Box Studio Aoyama in Tokyo, Japan, as part of AOFES 2013. The exhibit "aims to express the creativity and originality of designers clearly by showing that process and semi-designed idea which is able to adapt to many possibilities of final products," as written on the designer's website. The Chameleon Ceramics collection certainly falls into that category, especially since the textured surface is left white.
