The sleek new Samsung DVD-H1080 debuted at CES 2009 showcases the future in DVD peripherals. This pebble-shaped player is slightly larger than a DVD and weighs just over two pounds, according to a Samsung press release.
Although the Samsung DVD-H1080 player is made with a minimalist design, it’s packed with all of the features of its full-sized brethren. Samsung says that the DVD-H1080 supports HD up scaling and can up-convert standard DVDs to 720p, 1080i or 1080p resolutions. And with the integrated USB Host Play function, support for DivX movies, MP3 music and JPEG images are all included.
