The Center Cam is Fixed to the Middle of the Screen

The Center Cam is a unique reimagination of the traditional webcam with a minor tweak as it is placed subtly in the middle of the screen instead. As a result of this reposition, helps make virtual interactions feel more natural and engaging as it appears that the user is speaking directly to the person on the other end.
It was designed by Ian Foster who faced the issue of maintaining a strong rapport with clients over virtual video calls during the pandemic and the shift of the new normal. He noticed that people got distracted and that a personal connection got lost. Foster then worked on creating a better-positioned camera that would naturally aid direct eye contact.
