'CellX' is a Shanghai-based startup in the alternative meats industry. The company creates cell-cultured meat with an authentic structure that recreates the texture and mouthfeel of real meat. Currently, the company focuses on creating cultured pork products made to replicate local pig breeds. CellX's flagship product is its cultured minced pork, however, it also offers cultured pork products in other forms.
CellX has partnered with 'Bluu Seafood' in order to create other kinds of cultured meat in order to revolutionize the industry. One of CellX's major commitments is to create a scalable cell-cultured meat product that can be sold at a directly comparable price to real animal-based meats. This goal is due to the cost of cell-cultured meat being one of the largest barriers that consumers face in eating sustainably.
