The Caterham AeroSeven Concept Previews the Company's Future

Driving purists will more than likely welcome the new Caterham AeroSeven Concept with arms wide open. Caterham, the British car company known for making awesome roadsters, debuted its latest creation at the recently held SingTel Singapore Grand Prix. The AeroSeven's design was influenced primarily by the Caterham F1 cars and is meant to be as aerodynamic as possible.
In addition to being aerodynamic, the Caterham AeroSeven Concept is also lightweight, making extensive use of the carbon fiber. The roadster is powered by a 2.0-liter 4-cylinder naturally aspirated Ford Duratec engine good for 237 horsepower and 151 pound-feet of torque, numbers good for a 0 to 62 time of less than 4.0 seconds. While those numbers may not sound high, they are bolstered by the Caterham AeroSeven Concept's lightweight and low profile. Needless to say, this concept looks like one heck of a track car and would probably be a blast to take out on the open road.
