This magnetic Catan game board has been designed by Thingverse member TheRooster as a three-dimensional version of the classic tabletop pastime that will offer players with an immersive new way to play.
The game board is achieved using a series of 3D-printed components that are expertly designed with textural details throughout to give it a more interactive experience. This will allow users to position game pieces accordingly and not have to worry about the components shifting during gameplay.
The process behind the magnetic Catan game board was explained by the creator who said, "The individual tiles were too large for my Elegoo Mars printer, so I shrank them a little bit to fit. That required adjusting the circle pocket for the number discs. I also wanted to hollow out the tiles in order to use less resin. Due to various reasons I ended up modifying every single piece from this collection other than the road and crossroad."
