Mobile service carrier AT&T and electronics producer ZTE have teamed up to create the ZTE Mobley, a simple device that brings car WiFi to almost any automobile made after 1996.
The car WiFi gadget plugs into the OBD II port of the car and is powered by the energy of the car -- no charging needed. Once plugged in, the ZTE Mobley provides car WiFi to up to five devices for streaming, gaming, browsing and communication on-the-go. The ZTE Mobley is only available on an AT&T data plan, although other mobile service provides such as Verizon have equivalent car WiFi devices.
The increasing popularity of car WiFi is a testament to the level of connection that modern consumers desire -- the Internet is a constant need for them, and products that can make sure this need is met are always in demand.
