Business Schooled Highlights Learnings from Experienced Entrepreneurs
Riley von Niessen — July 15, 2019 — Life-Stages
Alexis Ohanian, famed tech entrepreneur and Co-Founder of Reddit, created a podcast series called Business Schooled to enable listeners of all ages to get a better idea of what drives success when it comes to business, and does this by exploring the minds of boomers who've created profitable businesses for themselves.
To get these answers, Ohanian traveled across the United States to interview different subjects, who run small and mid-sized businesses that they started on their own. Although Ohanian is only in his 30s and tends to invest in millennial-run businesses, he's aware of the massive impact boomers are having in the entrepreneurial space and understands that he and his listeners can learn a lot from those who've had years of experience.
As he stated in an Instagram post promoting the series, "[I] wanted to dust off my podcast skills and meet some OG entrepreneurs from outside of the Silicon Valley bubble and beyond the millennial founders I'm used to taking pitches from and working with."
