This Burberry Christmas Tree Will Adorn the Lobby of Claridge's London
Charlotte Joyce Kidd — October 27, 2015 — Art & Design
This year's Claridge's Christmas decor will include a gorgeously ornamented Burberry Christmas tree.
For the past six years, Claridge's has picked a high fashion designer to create the Christmas time decor of its London hotel lobby, and this year, it has selected Burberry designer and CEO Christopher Bailey to do the honors. The Burberry Christmas tree will be decorated in over 100 metallic silver and gold umbrellas, a tribute to Burberry's tradition of creating elegant and iconic rain wear.
The Burberry Christmas tree's lights will respond to motion sensors, so that it lights up whenever a guest walks by. In addition, Claridge's bellboys will have "a touch of Burberry" added to their uniforms during the holiday season, and will be available to help guests with all of their Christmas shopping needs.
