Doing even more besides their wind and solar portable chargers, HYmini has devised a truly ecological solution to many problems in one ingenious product. Utilizing the now infamously offensive plastic bottles to create its POLLI-Brick, the polymer architectural brick combines post-consumer materials with environmentally-friendly function.
Each interlocking cylindrical brick consumes about four PET bottles. The unique construction contains a large amount of air which creates very effective thermal and sound insulation. The “bricks” join together with minimal silicone, and the honeycomb geometry provides for great tensile strength.
