The clever Bucketlight is a practical and decorative solution to the problem of a close-packed office. Roderick Vos didn't have sufficient space in its showroom and workspace to include greenery, plus, the expansive area made it difficult to have accessible electrical sockets throughout.
Cast aluminium material was used to make pairs of planters that were joined together, and, in the base of each one, a light fixture was installed. The hybrid creation offers two fantastic functions in one. Furthermore, the designers added power plugs between the hanging planters that supply overhead outlets to the middle of the room. Each Bucketlight is supported by a reinforced cord that suspends the lush illuminator from the ceiling to complete an ingenious compound idea.
