Sometimes it's the simplest ideas that come across as the most clever; case in point, the Brolly umbrella. Have you ever tried to use a smartphone in the rain? It's almost impossible. Not only does the water interfere with the responsiveness of the screen, but getting your electronic gadgets wet is never a good idea in the first place.
Trying to send a text with an umbrella can also be a pretty frustrating experience, what with the pitiful human body evolution only giving us two hands to work with. The Brolly umbrella does away with these intolerable first world problems by essentially recreating a set of brass knuckles (sadly made of plastic) to fit your fingers into, effectively freeing your thumb and spare hand to tweet, text and facebook all your friends. I mean, seriously, who lets something like a little rain get in the way of their latest Facebook update?
