The Brit & Co. Blog Shows How to Make a Sentimental Gift
Sarah Nazim — July 16, 2012 — Art & Design
In this video, Brit Morin from the Brit & Co. blog shows how to re-purpose ordinary playing cards into a sentimental gift. If you are tight on money, this would be a great way to surprise someone.
All you need to put this together are some playing cards, colored masking tape, colored paper and chalkboard paint. There are many options as to how you can decorate your game pieces. For example, Morin did '52 Reasons I Love You' as a gift for her father, but you can ultimately do any theme. Once the cards are completed you simply put them back into the box, decorate it, and they are ready to be shipped out.
This is a great and inexpensive idea that is perfect for mailing out, and best of all it's fun to put together.
