Children tend to drop and smash things that can be dropped and smashed. Sometimes an adult has their slip ups as well. It’s now not a worry as far as dinner plates are concerned thanks to Alexander Hulme's unbreakable dinner plate design.
It begins as one large plate, but under the circumstances that it is dropped, the outer ring will break away and two smaller plates come out of the ordeal (notice the tracing of them in the middle).
Now, big plates are necessary for some meals so you can’t really afford to be careless, but you have to admit, it takes away a lot of unnecessary worry.
