Amid the COVID-19 pandemic, many businesses have had to pivot their business model to accommodate new safety regulations, however, Canadian restaurant group Paramount Fine Foods is setting itself apart with a new fully automated restaurant set to launch in summer 2020, dubbed Box'd.
Located at 4 King St. W.—in the heart of Toronto’s financial district—Box'd by Paramount lets gets place their orders in advance using either the brand's mobile app or a digital kiosk in-store. Guests will be updated when their food is ready through digital status boards and can pick up their food using the digital cubbies and shelves for a streamlined and convenient experience. Not only will this decrease the amount of wait time for customers, but it also reduces the amount of staff needed on hand.
