The Bounceboard is a soft, flexible board used to practice aerial snowboarding and wakeboarding maneuvers on a trampoline. Previously, snowboard, wakeboard and skateboard enthusiasts would take the wheels off their skateboards or simply use their snowboards or wakeboards to practice their tricks on a trampoline. Because this practice is potentially dangerous to the user and will void the trampoline's warranty, the lightweight, high-density foam construction of the Bounceboard is a safe and fun alternative.
The board is shaped like a small snowboard about 3.5 feet long and straps onto the user's bare feet. The board is comprised of only soft flexible materials, but it is strong enough to hold its shape as the user jumps on it.
Major extreme sport training camps such as Woodward and the University of Oregon's aerial awareness training class are using the Bounceboard as a training tool in their facilities. The Bounceboard was also featured in the MTV show "Made" to help a young snowboarder in Wisconsin learn to snowboard.
