The simple silhouette of the Bordus Table is made dynamic to the eye through the use of sharp angles and asymmetrical touches. Although the inspiration behind its design could easily be dismissed as part of the geometric phase many artists and designers are currently enjoying, the Bordus Table takes cues from the angular look of Stealth fighter jets.
Envisioned by Swedish furniture and product designer Ola Giertz and built by Benjamin Holm, the Bordus Table is predominantly made out of solid ash with darker walnut dovetail joints as a contrasting detail. Stepping away from the typical round and rectangular coffee tables found in local furniture shops, the Bordus Table can be considered a sculptural piece that will elevate the look of living spaces immediately.
